- Uncompress the contents of the zip file into the game installation folder, ex C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\
- Run patch.bat inside the XComGame_DeveloperUnlock folder
- The batch will make a backup of the original XComGame.exe to XComGame.bkp, in case you want to restore the changes.
- If you prefer the manual way, the binary changes are documented in a article attached to this mod
Important notes:
- It's a experimental patch that involves changes to the executable file and unlocks a lot of developer commands, therefore there may be some unknown risks involved, it's your own responsibility
- I recommend backing up your savegame/config folder in case something gets messy, usually it's at "Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown"
- The patch was only tested with a unmodified version of XComGame.exe
